Includes determining the business requirements for recovering business operations; Business Impact Analysis – assessment and analysis the business impact of disruptions / weaknesses at the critical business operations and related ICT infrastructure and services delivery; Determining the Maximum Allowable Outage (MAO) and the Recovery Time Objective (RTO) for each business critical process and application; Completion of the Risk Analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of applications in place which might impact the continuity of business operations; The remedial measures to be planned, implemented, and utilised on continuous basis.
